Oh my god.
So I am leaving Yogyarkta tomorrow to head to Jakarta, to then head to Jambi. I am freakin’ out!!!! On the inside of course. Of course I am cool and collected right now. Yeah right. I am packing up all my things, for what I hope is the last time. It is interesting how a very short period of time can leave such a significant imprint on your life. I have spent a total of 6 weeks of my life with these 6 people and they have each left a little mark on me that usually takes years. Not only left a mark, but taught me something new about myself in their own unique way. And not on purpose. The last thing we were all trying to do was teach other. It seemed more like we were trying to soak in as much as we could without even giving thought to how we would impact each other.
One by one everyone is heading to their posts. It is soooo scary! I know I have been in language school, but I am just picturing myself getting picked up at the airport in Jambi by someone who barely speaks English, but we will both really want to chat. At least I will be able to tell them where I am from! Anyway, yeah, so I am super nervous but also excited and I like that combo pack. It is like a pretzel cone for your icecream. Sweet and salty.
